This form closely resembles N. pectoralis in overall appearance.
However, due to its occurrence at Kiku, within the distribution area of
N. nigriventris, and based on observed differences in body size and shape,
Heinz Büscher suggested referring to it as
Neolamprologus sp. aff. 'pectoralis'.
