Katondo Point, Cape Mpimbwe, Lake Tanganyika, Tanzania

Cape Mpimbwe is a large promontory encompassing several bays and points, whereof Katondo Point being one of the larger
rocky habitats. Lake Tanganyika is in need of more protected areas – safe havens – for its wildlife.
Cape Mpimbwe, with its large species diversity, could be such a place.
