Pseudosimochromis margaretae (paratype)

Comment: Pseudosimochromis margaretae (Axelrod and Harrison, 1978) was described on the basis of four specimens collected at a depth of three to six meters in the bay off Kigoma, Tanzania, but a mistake was made, it was actually a Malawi fish labeled wrongly. Maarten Van Steenberge paratype photo is so probably a Tropheops species from Lake Malawi. (pers. comm. with Adrian Indermaur, 21.7.2022).
