Cardiopharynx sp. 'kabimba' Kawasindi Island
Tribe / Genus: Ectodini / Cardiopharynx
Biotope: Intermediate habitat above sandy substrate
Geographic distribution: Known only from the Kabimba (Kawasindi Island) area, DR Congo
Diet: Observed picking material from the upper layer of sand
Special notes: Known from a single observed individual. Tentatively assigned to the genus Cardiopharynx, but differing in coloration from Cardiopharynx schoutedeni. Referred to as Cardiopharynx sp. 'kabimba' pending further study.
